Foundation test: first impressions

Hi everyone
Recently I went to CVS and got three new foundations:
The first was Almay Pureblands in Ivory. I shook this up a bit and put some on my finger. Its very liquidy, which I think its supposed to be because water is the main ingredient. I applied it to the side of my face to see if I would have any reaction. It felt a little itchy going on, but I think my skin is getting used to it. I don't see any breakouts yet. Even though this has SPF 20, I always put a moisturizer on before any makeup. It was kinda hard to blend in for me. So far not a big fan, but I just put it on, so we'll see. I am noticing that it feels a little sticky on the skin.

The next foundation I tried was Almay Nearly Naked Makeup in Naked
My first impression of this makeup is that I like the consistency. Its creamier than the pureblends and it blends into the skin very easily. It does not feel sticky, in fact it feels like I have nothing on. I can feel my skin, it doesn't feel as if I have a ton of makeup on. The color worked well for me too, it warmed up my skin a little. It is a light coverage makeup. It will cover up redness, but if you have any scaring it probably won't cover that up. No itchiness with this one.

Lastly, I tried Rimmel's Stay Matte Foundation. My color is 100.
This was kinda thick going on and hard to blend. It also felt sticky, but now that it has has time to set and dry, it feels smooth. Since I just put this on, I'm not sure about the matte part working, but I will definitely keep you updated!

Almay intense i-color for hazel eyes

Hi!
So, as a lot of people have, I went to CVS to check out the 75%off deals! I got a bunch of things, but the first review I have for you is on the Almay intense i-color mascara for hazel eyes.
This product claims to use "eye interplay technology". This is what the product claims:
Intensify your very unique eye color. Oversized brush with tapered tip finds and flaunts every lash to instantly double the look of your lashes. Our patented formula with light catching minerals won't clump or smudge.
Now, I really like the brush size. I just like big brushes, nothing more to it. I hate those little skinny brushes. This particular color is supposed to be "black emerald" but it just looks black to me.The packaging is a little strange. I wanted to make sure that this mascara was black, and it didn't really say it was that anywhere , it just said "for hazel eyes". I wish it just said black somewhere on the packaging so that you know for sure before spending your money. As for the light catching minerals? Uh, I don't get it, I guess light is reflected? Not impressed by that. But overall its a good mascara. I like the color, I like the feel. But don't buy it because of the light technology.

My new Wet n' Wild products

Hey everyone!
A couple weeks ago I got some new Wet n' Wild products!
The first was Arch Envy. Though I have dark hair, I bought the lighter one because I really wanted to try it. I really love it. The color fills in the brows nicely and the wax side sets the brows in place. Within the two weeks I have been using it I have had to sharpen the color side once and the wax side not at all. I thought this was pretty good because I have been using it every day. A bit of a pain to sharpen with some sharpeners. I have a Mark. sharpener and that didn't work at all because it kept sharpening the bottom and not the top. Then I tried my Prestige sharpener, that worked much better. Overall, I enjoy this product!
Next up I bought three of these creme shadows. The purple one (Techno), the blue one (Electro) and the sandy color (Pixie). I LOVE these as a base! Also, these are great to give some color to the lower lash line. I bought these with the intention of using the as  bases and I like them very much.

The last thing I purchased was the CoverAll liquid wand concealer in light.

The consistency is lovely and creamy. Blends really well. Dried fast. I use this under my eyes and love it.
I have nothing bad to say about it.

Wet N'Wild palletes

Hey everyone!
My first blog post! Now, I have been dying to try the Wet n'Wild holiday palletes  which are incredibly hard to find near me. I've looked everywhere! I believe there are four palletes. I've been watching Wing, Diva Makeup Queen on YouTube and she has convinced me of their great quality. I have to admit, it has been a long time since I've purchased  any Wet n' Wild products. I used to buy the nail polish when I was younger. Now I'm 27 and never considered the possibilily of any quality improvement. But I have been proven wrong. My goal withing the next few weeks is to get some Wet n' Wild products to show you and tell you what I think of them. But for now, tell me what you think about these color iconn collections...
